Recently refreshed New Orleans institution debuts Easter Day specials paired with live jazz

WHAT: Celebrate Easter Sunday at Rib Room with a festive brunch featuring classic New Orleans flavors, served from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 5, with live jazz starting at 11 a.m. by Sugar Bear & The Jazz Cats.

Following a thoughtful renovation, the 60-year-old dining institution has reemerged with updated interiors, including the four private dining spaces, and a refreshed menu that honors its legacy while introducing new favorites. Under the direction of executive chef Dan Dienemann, Rib Room continues its tradition as a celebrated steakhouse and jazz brunch destination.

The Easter brunch menu features signature dishes like the 28-Day Prime Rib with rosemary-tellicherry crust, Worcestershire jus, horseradish crème and Yorkshire pudding, alongside brunch favorites including Grillades & Grits and Avocado Florentine. Starters include Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail and Fried Green Tomatoes, plus New Orleans staples like Chicken & Andouille Gumbo and Rocket Salad.

Easter specials include Beef Wellington with pomme purée, creamed spinach and bone marrow demi-glace, and Lobster Thermidor with gruyère, Parmigiano Reggiano and charred broccolini. Guests are encouraged to make reservations via OpenTable

Guests can continue the afternoon just steps away at Three Maries Jazz Club, where the “Jazz on a Sunday Afternoon” series runs from 2 to 4 p.m., featuring the Potholes Brass Band, led by Rob Espino—offering a seamless transition from brunch into an intimate live music experience.
