Monday: Dominick Grillo & The Frenchmen Street All-Stars at The Spotted Cat Music Club

Take note: the Spotted Cat's dance floor fills up fast when Dominick Grillo takes the stage. The saxophonist and his friends play songs to get you moving, playing Dixieland and jazz standards, and spicing up the playlist with some old-school New Orleans funk. 

Tuesday: Rebirth Brass Band at the Maple Leaf Bar

At the Maple Leaf Bar, an iconic Uptown venue, features live music nightly, reserving a standing Tuesday slot for these local legends. A New Orleans institution, Rebirth never fails to bring audiences to their feet with a romping fusion of second line, funk, soul and hip hop.

Wednesday: New Orleans Jazz Orchestra at Irvin Mayfield's Jazz Playhouse

Listen to the swinging sound of horns, piano, bass and drums, played by the cool cats of the New Orleans Jazz Orchestra while lounging in the contemporary and sultry setting of Irvin Mayfield’s Jazz Playhouse located in the Royal Sonesta hotel.

Thursday: Naydja CoJoe at The Columns Hotel 

Jazz songstress Naydja CoJoe can bring the house to tears with her cover of Etta James' "At Last," and minutes later have you on your feet dancing. Hear her sing the classics every Thursday at the historical Columns Hotel's Victorian Lounge.

Friday: Jeremy Davenport at The Davenport Lounge in The Ritz-Carlton, New Orleans

Sip on a Blonde Hurricane or any of the other handcrafted cocktails at The Davenport Lounge while you listen to jazz trumpeter and vocalist Jeremy Davenport, who trained under the great Ellis Marsalis. 

Saturday: Take Your Pick!

It's Saturday night in New Orleans - you'll be hard-pressed to find a joint that's not rocking with live music. From Frenchmen Street to Bourbon Street, musicians are gearing up to play some of our world-famous jazz, zydeco, blues and brass music. Check local listings to find where your favorite artist is playing tonight. 

Sunday: Gospel Brunch at House of Blues

Gospel star Kirk Franklin personally selects the songs performed at Gospel Brunch, a Sunday morning concert and brunch buffet that's guaranteed to please your palate and lift your spirits. The House of Blues also offers incredible evening performances, if you need to come back for seconds.
