The Offline Playlist

You've probably heard there's music every night of the week in New Orleans. It's true. From big theaters to dimly-lit bars to bustling street corners, our music brings all kinds of people together who otherwise would never meet.

Many of those legendary New Orleans artists can be found on this Spotify playlist. But to truly appreciate their talent, it's best to see them live.

So, on July 13th, 2019, New Orleans Tourism and Spotify partnered to bring it to life. The top songs were performed by the original artists, in their original order, for a small group of lucky playlist followers at the iconic Preservation Hall.

We call it The Offline Playlist.

The result is an astonishing live album (stream now on Spotify here), photography by Danny Clinch and Justen Williams, and a film that was released in 2020. We hope you'll spend some time enjoying it, and catch any of the participating artists live on your next trip.
