Leave with A Story, Not Just A Souvenir

A Tourism Campaign to Shine a Light on the City’s Best Stories

At the end of most vacations, you leave with a souvenir. When you leave New Orleans, you leave with a story that you’ll retell for the rest of your life.

This is the simple, powerful premise of New Orleans’ ongoing tourism advertising campaign.

It allows our city to celebrate its culture bearers — musicians, chefs, Mardi Gras Indians, walking groups, to merely name a few — who star in the great stories happening on our streets every single day.

It’s the city’s hope that locals and tourists alike will find these stories inspiring and educational. They’re designed to be shared and talked about over drinks and hot, towering piles of crawfish. They’re different. In many cases, they live just around the corner from something you’ve seen a thousand times.

Below is sampling off the campaign efforts.

We hope you enjoy them as much as we do.
