Garden District Tour
Child: $15 (children under 12). Children under 6 are free.
Built in the mid-1800s, New Orleans' stately Garden District is the home of one of the best collections of historic Southern mansions in the United States. Once the site of old plantations, the neighborhood was divided into smaller land parcels and developed by wealthy newcomers to rival the architectural splendor and beauty of the French Quarter. On this walking tour, you'll see Lafayette Cemetery, the homes of author Anne Rice and rock star Trent Reznor (outside only), the house where Jefferson Davis died, and other antebellum treasures.
