NEW ORLEANS - University of New Orleans swimmer Catalina Mendieta was named Sun Belt Conference Swimmer of the Week on Tuesday afternoon as the conference honored swimmers for their contributions during the entire month of December coupled with the first week of January.

NEW ORLEANS -- The University of New Orleans basketball team will kick off its third three-game homestand of the season on Thursday, as the Privateers host in-state rival Louisiana-Lafayette in a 7 p.m. tipoff at Lakefront Arena.

JONESBORO, Ark. - Arkansas State continued their mastery of the University of New Orleans in Jonesboro, Ark. as Sherina Scott made two free throw with one second left as the Red Wolves escaped defeat with a 63-61 victory on Sunday afternoon at the Convocation Center.
