New Orleans – Tulane’s senior duo of Nicolette Taku and Olivia Kizzee, along with the 4x400-meter relay team, were bright spots for the Green Wave during the second day of the Sykes-Sabock Challenge cup as Taku finished second in the triple jump, while Kizzee was ninth in the 200-meter dash and she helped the 4x400-meter relay team to a sixth place finish at the Horace Ashenfelter III Track in University Park, Pa.

New Orleans - Tulane University sophomore third baseman/right-handed pitcher Rob Segedin has been named to the Baseball America preseason All-America third team, as the publication announced its 2010 preseason squad on Friday. Segedin joined four other players from Conference USA schools on the list.
