HOUSTON – The Tulane University women’s tennis team combined to go 11-6 and the quartet of Lindsay Dvorak, Hila Elster, Elizabeth Hamlin and Mariam Kurdadze advanced to the semifinals of their respective flights in day one of the Alonti Cougar Fall Draw at the John E. Hoff Courts.

New Orleans – The Tulane football team returns home and to Conference USA play this Saturday when the Green Wave hosts the UTEP Miners on Senior Day at the Louisiana Superdome. Kick-off is slated for 2:30 p.m. Fans in the Superdome can listen to the Tulane radio broadcast on 88.7 FM, while anyone outside the Superdome can tune in to the official flagship station for Tulane Athletics, WIST 690 AM.

NEW ORLEANS – The Tulane University women’s tennis team will look to close out the fall portion of its 2009-10 schedule on a high note when the Green Wave travel to Houston for the Alonti Cougar Fall Draw over the weekend at the John E. Hoff Courts.

NEW ORLEANS – With less than two weeks remaining before the season opener, the Tulane University women’s basketball team garnered some national attention as the Green Wave received nine votes in the 2009-10 NCAA Women’s Basketball Associated Press Preseason Top 25.

TULSA, Okla. – Outside hitters Visnja Djurdjevic and Ksenija Vlaskovic combined for 31 kills, 14 digs, four aces and four block assists, but it was not enough as the Tulane University volleyball team dropped a 3-1 decision to Conference USA foe Tulsa Sunday afternoon at the Reynolds Center.
