Lisa has been a bodybuilder and personal trainer for over twenty years. She is an AFFA certified personal trainer.

A graduate of Delgado Community College, she is the holder of the 1990 Miss Louisiana A.A.U. title, the 1995 Ms. Louisiana N.P.C. title, 4th place in the middle weight division of the 1995 Janata Classic, 14th place in the heavy weight division of the 1996 USA Body Building Nationals, and 2nd place in the heavy weight division of the 1997 Strength Training and Physique Extravaganza.

In 2004, Lisa was the Nova Fitness Winners Circle's 1st place in the Greater Gulf States. Lisa has been featured in Woman's Physique World, Muscular Development, and Iron Man magazines.

Massimini has designed a youth fitness program for children ages 4-12 known as Kidz Fun-2B-Fit. The program is structured to teach children the importance of regular exercise, nutrition and developing healthy eating habits.

Fun-2B-Fit was designed by Lisa after she saw the need to make fitness a fun event.
