College underclassmen are being advised on their draft status by the NFL
NFL sources say a record 196 underclassmen submitted their names to the NFL advisory panel for a determination of their draft standing last year. That record may last just one year.
Underclassmen may comprise half of the first round in the upcoming draft. The combination of a weak senior class and elite talent among underclassmen will see many young prospects drafted early this spring.
