LSU's baseball recruiting could take a major hit in the June 9th major league baseball draft. Pitchers Brody Colvin (St. Thomas More), Zach Von Rosenberg (Zachary), and Slade Heathcott (Texarkana, Texas) are all projected to go in the top 3 rounds.

Where would the LSU baseball program be if star pitcher Louis Coleman followed his coach's advice 2 years ago and transferred? Following a poor sophomore year, the talented hurler was advised that he may have a better opportunity with another school. Coleman stuck it out and from the midway point of last season until now he has been lights out. Good thing for Paul Mainieri.
