Morten Andersen
He spent 13 years kicking for the New Orleans Saints, playing in the most games in franchise history. He was allowed  to leave via free agency in 1995, a huge mistake by the New Orleans Saints though it did not diminish his accomplishments in New Orleans.

Friday at the Best Western Landmark Hotel in Metairie, the Saints and the Saints Hall of Fame Media Selection Committee took a huge step to right a wrong, inducting Andersen into the Saints Hall of Fame Museum. Long-time Saints public address announcer Jerry Romig received the Joe Gemelli Fleur De Lis award for his over four decades spent at the microphone for the Saints.

How good is Trovon Reed? In 2008, Thibodaux went unbeaten in the regular season and advanced to the 5A quarterfinals. With many of his teammates graduating, Reed led the Tigers to a 3-1 start in 2009 before going down with a knee injury in a week five loss to South Terrebonne.

Before we get started on some Friday tidbits, I thought that I'd test your recall a little.

There are ELEVEN schools that do not have an 'S' ending their team's nickname. How many can you name? Answer to come later...

Nick Saban as himself (LSU's head coach) in The Blind Side.

This is the week that a large number of LSU fans start turning red – or make that crimson – with anger.
