Reggie Bush would like to play Sunday in Kansas City. The Saints and coach Sean Payton would like him to play, too! Having said this, it is perhaps about 50-50 as to whether Bush will return to action this weekend.
Recovering from the second scope of his knee in as many years, Bush has been wearing a brace on the knee this week. He did not practice today but expressed that he is feeling a little better. Payton expressed cautious optimism that he will suit up against the Chiefs.
Perhaps the Saints would be more prudent to hold him out for one more week and to give him an additional eight days before the Saints host the Packers on Monday night football November 24. It appears that Jonathan Goodwin (knee), Mike Karney (knee) and Aaron Glenn (ankle) will miss the Chiefs' game.
