Brishen Mathews commits to Ole Miss

Safety Brishen Mathews of Monticello High School (Arkansas) has committed to Ole Miss, choosing the Rebels over Arkansas, Georgia Tech, Memphis, Tulsa, Louisiana Tech, Arkansas State and Central Arkansas.

Mathews runs in the 4.55 range in the forty-yard dash and has been timed at 4.49 at a camp at LSU.

The 6'1, 190 pound Mathews is the son of New Orleans native Gwaine Mathews, the head coach at Arkansas-Monticello. Gwaine Mathews is a former players and head coach at De La Salle High School in New Orleans.
