The Metropolitan Nightclub: 310 Andrew Higgins Drive
Every Saturday night, New Orleans prepares herself to host one of the best parties that can be found in any city in the country. The Metropolitan Nightclub, located in Generations Hall at the heart of the hip warehouse district, opens every Saturday at 10pm for VIP and guest list-ers; the general public comes in at 11. Be prepared to party the night away, because they don't close until the sun's coming up.

New Orleans Salty Dog
Known as a Greyhound when it's without a salted rim, the Salty Dog is perfect for winter months when citrus fruits are in season and at their peak. Maybe you could even find some locally-grown and squeezed grapefruit juice at the farmer's market this weekend. Either way, this simple and easy cocktail will freshen you up anytime, and you're bound to have most of the ingredients, if not all of them, already at home!
Ingredients: 5 oz. grapefruit juice 1 1/2 oz. vodka salt
Steps: Coat the rim of a highball glass with salt. Mix vodka and grapefruit juice in another glass with ice; pour into glass with salted rim. Serve on the rocks and garnish with a lime wedge, if desired.
Maybe you're in town for a bachelors' party or a conference and you're looking for a really wild night out? Head down to Bourbon Street for a whole strip of gentlemen's clubs, complete with girls in the doorway, beckoning you to come in. You're bound to see a few things you've never even imagined! But hey, what happens on Bourbon Street, stays on Bourbon Street.
