Saints Tickets: How Much Is Too Much?
Even just a couple of hours before the Saints face off against the Falcons, tickets for the game at the Dome available But ABC26's Jon Huffman reports, you better get ready to fork over a pretty penny.

Go online to " NFL Ticket Exchange" (the link is at the left) and you can still find plenty of spots available. Even by 4:00 p.m. on game day, seats in the nosebleed section are going for as low as $80.

But if you want a good seat, say, on the sideline, be prepared to pay through the nose: top ticket price today is $1,900 plus a 15% premium.

Loyal tailgaters who've been camping near the dome since sunrise think that's a bit much.

"Maybe 3 or 4 hundred bucks," is all Rusty Vollentine from Slidell said he'd pay.

Kim and Fred Dibenedetto of Covington already have tickets, and they agree that $1,900 for a regular season game is over the top.

But what if it were the saints at the Super Bowl?

"No, no," says Fred. "It's too much money!"

"Would you do it for me, honey?" Kim asks him.

Easy to see who the real Saints fan is here.

If you're trying to score a last-minute ticket, beware of scalpers walking the streets. There's been a rash of counterfeit tickets this year because the Saints are so hot.
