Located on bustling Chartres Street, a mere two blocks from Jackson Square and Bourbon Street and one block to the famous galleries and antique stores on Royal Street, Hotel St. Helene offers visitors all of the convenience and excitement of a hotel in the French Quarter. Hotel St. Helene is listed in the National Registrar of Historic Places. The Greek Revival building was constructed in 1846 for the family of Italian-born grocer Nicholas Bertoli and dedicated to French emperor Napoleon Bonaparte for his role in the Louisiana Purchase.
The 16-room St. Helene offers various accommodations: a standard queen room; a deluxe queen room with a sitting area and fold-out couch for two additional guests; and balcony suites facing either Chartres Street or the courtyard overlooking a luminous pool.
