Since 1938, the pro golf circuit has made a regular stop in the New Orleans area, and that tradition continues with the Zurich Classic of New Orleans TPC Louisiana. The Fore!Kids Foundation, a local company whose mission is to raise money for children’s charities by producing golf events, serves as the presenting entity of the Zurich Classic, a springtime staple on the PGA TOUR. The list of past winners of the tournament reads like a Who’s Who of golf: Jack Nicklaus, Byron Nelson, Gary Player, Tom Watson, Billy Casper, Lee Trevino, Ben Crenshaw and Seve Ballesteros.
