Unique Architecture

Due to the many cultural influences, it isn't a surprise that New Orleans has her own unique architecture. All over the city you will disover raised centerhall cottages which are one-and-a-half story house raised two to eight feet above ground on brick piers, double gallery homes featuring side-gables or hipped roofs and creole cottages displaying a symmetrical four-opening faced wall, usually set on the front property line.
