The ReNew New Orleans Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, established by a group of New Orleans natives who wanted to contribute back to their hometown. One hundred percent of the ReNew New Orleans Foundation’s net profits are being donated to local Greater New Orleans charities. The foundation’s fundraising organization is run by New Orleanians, for New Orleans. They believe local charities are best suited to assist in the long-term rebuilding of the Greater New Orleans area. Their goal is to raise funds needed to enhance the quality of life for citizens of the Greater New Orleans area adversely affected by Hurricane Katrina. Contributions are made to charities that enhance life through education, health, human services, arts, culture and humanities. This foundation has assisted in helping local musicians find steady gigs.
