The only Republican in the House to vote for
a Democrat-backed health care bill says two fundraisers for him
have been canceled since Saturday's vote.

Rep. Anh "Joseph" Cao (gow) said Tuesday some campaign
contributors have also asked for their money back.

But Cao stands by his vote and rejects any notion he might leave
the Republican Party.

House Minority Whip Eric Cantor of Virginia says he was
disappointed by Cao's vote but he plans no political retaliation
against Cao.

Cao, a Vietnamese-American, represents a mostly black, mostly
Democratic New Orleans-based district. He narrowly defeated
Democratic incumbent William Jefferson last year after Jefferson
was indicted on corruption charges.

Cao's vote affect ALL of America, not just his isolated district. Besides, those who say he voted his conscience are wrong... HE WAS BOUGHT OFF BY OBAMA. The Chicago way!

This statement has a great deal to do with what is wrong with the left side of the aisle. A congresman's job is not to decide what he believes is in the 'best interest' of his constituents; his job is to represent the sentements of his constituents, even if he believes it is not in their best interest. Elitists would have us believe that they know what is best for us, often they are dead wrong. Especially when the elitist believes 'the best interest of his constituent' dilutes the precepts of the constitution. Perhaps your elitist mentality will be your downfall.

The Honorable Joseph Cao is one of very few Repubs in the congress with the self respect and integrity to do what he is supposed to do, vote for the best interests of his constituents. I hope every congressman who votes against the best interests of the people they represent in order to continue the corporate take-over of this country spend their afterlife looking into the eyes of the innocents they have killed. Republicans have become the party of big business. They make money off the suffering of the American people. Republicans are in the pockets of war profiteers and "too big to fail" corporations (including ins companies who rip off and kill American citizens.) Republicans are the shame of America, we should hang our heads.

vote on the incumbents stances toward constitution loyalty. Republicans and Democrats generically have sold Americans out for corporate interest. We need members of congress for individual liberties and Anti-Fed.

I hope we are all waking up now to what is happening in America -- we need our country back but the problem is they are all in our house and have all the power. It is furstating to me that NO ONE not even one person from inside our capital is not standing up and saying about this healthcare bill that it is unconstitutional and ILLEGAL!! Get rid of these bumbs -- thanksgoodness people have exressed this with the fundraisers for Cao. What is he thinking?

The Tea Party,912, and other liberty minded groups MUST come together and put forth a candidate from within the ranks. Network folks, and your candidate CAN win without the major funding. It just requires committment and hard work on your part. I am writing from SC. and you would't believe how we have ours on the run! We are working on the ratfink Lindsey Graham, and others of his ilk.

You gotta be kidding me! Jefferson was nearly re-elected despite his history? Clearly the inhabitants of this congressional district are deserving of the crappy representation they are getting. I only worry about the following three issues as concerns 2010:

1) Who do we vote for if no one runs against the incumbent?
2) What if a good person can not run because it is too expensive to compete?
3) How can we talk the people, who don't know who the vice president is, out of voting all together?

So, if we forget 4/15/10 by a week, can they catch all of us? Will they be able to hear us then?

Kick Cao to the curb.

Amazing that folks across the country are screaming about the same issues, VOLUNTARILY,UNIFIED WITHOUT INDOCTRINATION... our beliefs are INNATE!
