Gretna Heritage Festival October 2nd to 4th
Once again the festival features international entertainers along with some of Louisiana's finest and favorites! New Orleans Coffee Festival October 3rd
The New Orleans Coffee Festival is a local organization devoted to the celebration of people coming together to enjoy drinking and learning about Coffee. It is on Saturday, October 3, 2009 at the Freret Market (located at Freret Street near Napoleon Avenue) from noon to 5pm. (More)

Bridge City Gumbo Festival October 9th to 11th
In 1973 the Louisiana Governor issued a proclamation naming Bridge City, "The Gumbo Capital of the World". The 2009 GUMBO FESTIVAL festivities begin on Friday, October 9th, and continue on the Saturday the 10th and end Sunday the 11th. (More) |

From Overture Gala to my Round Table Luncheon

Darling friends,
In spite of the inclement weather, I was able to have a full schedule of Real Estate activities as well as attending social/cultural soirees.
Of course my favorite thing to do in real estate besides helping my clients find the perfect home or sell their most valuable possession is picking up a commission check, which I did, and participating in a soiree, which I also did as a "bride" in the fabulous 2009 Overture to the Cultural Season Gala at the Roosevelt Hotel. I need to congratulate the chairperson Bonnie Broel and her committee for a job well done. (More)
