Participants will compare and contrast modern and historical preparation techniques. Field trips to the French Market will be taken so that campers may experience the thrill of purchasing fresh foods from farmers. Students will trace the history of food and cooking in their own families as they collect oral histories. The culinary finale of the camp involves each child creating his or her
own Creole delicacy to share at our "History Feast."
