Earth & Fire offers all kinds of pottery classes for people of all ages: there are beginners classes that meet once a week for a month and are open to all; there are also special after-school classes that meet once a week from 4:00 to 5:30, and they are open for kids ages 5 to 14. The classes are $225 and last for six weeks, and the cost includes the use of tools, equipment, supplies, glazes, firing and instruction.



Pottery is a great supplement to school art programs and allows students time to 'play' and give parents time to finish up at work or at home before picking up the kids from school.

Earth & Fire also offers summer camp, which meets weekdays from 9am to 4 pm for two week sessions. In the 80 hour seminar, students learn to throw pottery on the wheel in the morning and learn hand-building in the afternoon. The children will leave with their finished, glazed, functional and sculptural masterpieces.

Class size is limited to 8 students to maximize one-on-one attention, and are open for students ages 10-18. Interested younger students may also be eligible.
