Camps
Camping is one of the most valuable experiences a child can have. It’s a learning experience that helps boys and girls appreciate the outdoors, live together as a group, get along with others and appreciate people with different interests and backgrounds. Camping appeals to our primitive souls. We can survive and thrive in our natural environment with a minimum of gear and a working knowledge of natural lore and practical skills. We return from a camping trip empowered with a sense of self-sufficiency. Children need to return from camping with that same sense of empowerment.(More)
