With galleries in Carmel by the Sea, California; Santa Fe, New Mexico; New Orleans and Key West, Florida; the company’s family of galleries represents 54 artists from across the globe. (NRMSI), a tax-exempt organization established to revitalize North Rampart Street from Canal Street to Esplanade Avenue, the "Gateway to the French Quarter," announces the 2nd Annual North RampART Festival, scheduled for Saturday, November 22, 2008 from 11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
This year the 2nd Annual North Rampart Festival is taking it to the street, North Rampart Street! We will be showcasing more than 20 local artists and food vendors, as well as famous New Orleans musicians. The Children's Area will feature interactive art programs and all on North Rampart Street. Admission is free! Entertainment!
This year the Main & Children's Stage entertainment line-up kicks-off at 11:00 a.m.: Treme Brass Band I'Voire Spectacle featuring Seguenon Kone New Orleans Young Traditional Brass Band Walter "Wolfman" Washington And other surprise guests! Eats! Wolfe's of New Orleans, serving Crab Cakes Tomatillo's New Orleans, Fajita Beef Tacos with Rice & Margaritas N'awlins Flava Café, Jambalaya, Crawfish Etouffee, Boudin & Red Beans & Rice Pull My Pork, Pulled Pork Sandwich or Plate P & J Oysters, Marinated Oysters Covenant Café, Shrimp & Avocado Pasta Salad & Crawfish Bruschetta Abita Beer & Sodas will also be available.
